I slept majority of the Saturday. It seems my body had had enough of me avoiding sleep that it decided to just shut down. I slept heavily, not waking up before two in the afternoon. You ever got a headache after sleeping too much? Yeah, I had to suffer through that since iftari. Me and my cousin watch Captain America brave new world and i enjoyed it. It was a nice superhero movie. But the thing that bugged me was the presence of the Isra*li superhero. Like, there was no need of her. At all. In light of recent events, the message was quite clear and its just sad because I doubt marvel would introduce a Ukrainian solider when there’s a war going on.
Anyway, I slept the last hour before iftari because the headache had gotten worse. Later, mamou called that he had safely landed alhamdulillah. We completed the movie and put on memoirs of a snail. Safe to say, I will not be completing it (my cousin was getting sleeping when we were quarter in). I ended the day with praying two rakats of taraweh by my own (alhamdulillah). Today would be the last day I sleep over at my grandma’s before going own. I may not be able to stay over until my Alevels are done and I’m now reluctant to go. Like, who’ll clean the table? My nani?? I know she does it anyway, that my grandparents have been living like this for a long time but it still feels wrong. I hope they stay happy and long Ameen. I love them very much <3
